. Your 2 days will be jammed packed. We will be photographing newborns, older newborns and maternity.
We will be photographing maternity in a studio set up as well as on the beautiful studio grounds.
You will each have the opportunity to assist with styling and posing our models. You will be able to use the images taken from the 2 days in your own portfolios, something that I feel is important to help you grow your business to help you advertise for model calls when you return home.
I will be showing you my exact workflows and the importance of them in pre session, session, editing and post session.
We will be talking business, IPS, editing, parent prep, price lists, products, styling, everything you need and want to know about running a newborn and baby photography business.
It will include helpful downloads, pre written templates for parent literature so you just have to tweak and add your branding.
We will be covering composites, how to create your own digital backgrounds and if that wasnt enough we will also be covering signature pieces and how to create your masterpiece.
You will have a link to editing tutorials for some of the images edited from the day to follow at home.
These 2 days will be amazing, you will leave confident and buzzing to go, you also have a 1:1 coaching call included and a goody bag.
This is a small group workshop and will be the only workshop you will need to get where you want to be.

So who am I?
I am a nature loving creative, who takes on animals that need a new home.
My family of animals includes, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens and alpacas. I have almost 50 in total, all living their best life.
I have been photographing newborns for 10 years, during that time I gained an associate in Newborn Photography, won over 40 awards, have been a mentor, judge and helped produce the new newborn safety certification.
I now help others build their dream business and give them tools, support and confidence to create beautiful images.
Previous delegates have said they love my friendly, simple and honest approach to teaching so that everything is easy to follow and then implement into their own business, they love that I am an open book.
You have me for 2 days on this workshop, to absorb and learn everything that I have in the last 10 years.

The sheer honesty and real experiences that Deana shares, and the fact that she is so truthful about her journey from complete beginner to award winning newborn photographer inspires me and gives me hope that I could achieve a solid regular income from newborn photography. On the 6th of October I did a two day 1:1 training session in Deana’s studio. I was a complete beginner and was very worried that I wouldn’t understand any of it. I had never photographed a newborn before and had only just picked up a camera. Deana’s training session was everything I needed and more ! Deana gave me the confidence to not only photograph my first ever newborn during the training but to then go on and start my own photography business. Deana was a fabulous teacher, very calm, supportive, easy going and if I was ever unsure of anything she would always find another way to explain.
